ABOUT CONG. ADRIAN SALCEDA
Leadership forged in the streets of Albay, to the halls of Congress
Raymond Adrian Salceda was born on February 1, 1993 in Ligao City, Albay, a son to Raymond and Jane Salceda. At a young age Salceda already started his public service as the Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) Chairman of Barangay Centro Oriental in Polangui from 2010 - 2013. He was then elected as SK Federation President of Polangui, and later on in the Province of Albay.
By 2013, he became the Barangay Captain of Centro Oriental, and also served as the Association of Barangay Captains (ABC) Polangui President until 2022. He was then elected as the Municipal Mayor of Local Government Unit of Polangui and as the President of League of Municipalities of the Philippines Albay Chapter from 2022 - 2025. He is currently the Representative of Albay's 3rd District — Ligao City, Polangui, Libon, Oas, Guinobatan, Jovellar, Pioduran.
Salceda is also the Chairman of the Special Committee on Food Security, Vice-Chairperson for Banks and Financial Intermediaries, and Member of Committee on Science and Technology. Experienced in both Executive and Legislative Department, Salceda proves his dedication in serving from a small community to a larger scope of public needs and demands.
